In the beginning, we drove by car, but what I'm going to talk about is the distance. So we started flying from Vienna, Memingen and even Friedrichshafen. Now we are flying from Prague, so it's cool. If you buy tickets a long time in advance like we do (we are planners), you can get them for a very good price.  

When you land at Tirana airport. They already have passport readers at the airport, so it is an advantage to have a passport. The airport in Tirana is clear and pleasant. In the airport hall, you can buy a SIM card with data from different phone companies - it doesn't matter, we buy One - approx. -6-20 e /3-35 GB/. There is free Wi-Fi at the airport. Do not change medications at the airport - worse course. There are  yellow taxis in front of the airport that  we trust, try to negotiate a price under 30 e (3000 Lek) if they give more. Then just hop into a taxi and say you want to go to Durres - Plazh, Hotel Perandor - i.e. approx. 50 from Villa Oleander. If you want an adventure and save money, then it is possible to take buses - approx. once every 1-2 hours to the center of Durres (6 e). You can easily arrange a taxi back to the airport, we can arrange it too.
